New model park opens in master-planned community

Homes in the Mustang Lakes community in Celina are priced from the $600s to $3 million-plus.

The Dallas Builders Association’s Community of the Week is Mustang Lakes in Celina, a nationally acclaimed master-planned community by Cambridge Companies. The community continues to grow and expand its lifestyle offerings. Located within the Prosper ISD, the new homes are priced from the $600s to $3 million-plus.

Mustang Lakes recently added 100-foot homesites, as well as the final phase of 1-acre-plus sites for custom homes. There are also more homesites available in the Woodhaven neighborhood, which features luxury patio homes on 65-foot-wide lots across a lake from The Club at Mustang Lakes. A variety of homesites are also available on 50-, 60-, 74- and 86-foot lots throughout the community.

Mustang Lakes is home to some of Dallas-Fort Worth’s top homebuilders, including Britton Homes, Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Tradition Homes, as well as custom builders Alford Homes, Dave R. Williams Homes, Sharif & Munir Custom Homes and Tim Jackson Custom Homes, which build on 1-acre-plus lots.

Previously named “Best Master-Planned Community” by the Dallas Builders Association for its beauty and resort-style amenities, Mustang Lakes features winding landscaped boulevards leading to the lakes, parks, amenities and club facilities. The Club at Mustang Lakes was awarded the 2019 “Best Community Amenity” at the International Builders Show, beating master-planned communities from across the U.S. and Canada.

The 12,000-square-foot clubhouse at Mustang Lakes features a state-of-the-art fitness center and lounging and event areas offering panoramic lake views. Set amid a 20-acre central park with oak trees and a 5-acre stocked lake, the amenity center includes a resort-style swimming pool with a lazy river, lap pool, kids’ splash pool, amphitheater, tennis and basketball courts, a playground and an island. There will be over 18 miles of trails when Mustang Lakes is complete. The onsite Sam Johnson Elementary School serves grades K-5.

The Club at Mustang Lakes features a new home information center that is open seven days a week at 2682 Roseland Parkway in Celina.
