These North Texas Chuck E. Cheese locations will mark Autism Awareness Month with sensory-sensitive playtime

For the first two hours, music around the restaurant and arcade will be quieter than usual, and lights will be dimmed.

Several Chuck E. Cheese locations in the Dallas area will open two hours early Sunday to host playtime for children with autism and other special sensory needs.

The day marks the relaunch of the company’s Sensory Sensitive Sundays, which will occur most Sundays in April at some locations, as well as the first Sunday of every month at many of the restaurants.

Music around the restaurants and arcades will be quieter than usual, and lights will be dimmed, according to a news release.
