MLB’s best-dressed walk the All-Star Red Carpet in Arlington

Bryce Harper, Paul Skenes were among the stars who walked the red carpet in Arlington ahead of the All-Star Game.

From cowboy hats to floral suits, fashion took center stage at MLB’s Red Carpet show Tuesday before the All-Star Game in Arlington. More than 60 players made the walk down the carpet, many accompanied by partners or family.

Here are some of the best looks from an afternoon strut under the hot Texas sun.

The hometown Rangers

The home team made the most of the spotlight. Some, like Corey Seager and manager Bruce Bochy, opted for simple looks, wearing nondescript but classy suits. Others, like reliever Kirby Yates, went for eye-catching colors. His magenta-patterned suit stood out but paired nicely with his family’s more low-key looks.

Everything is bigger in Texas

Many other stars embraced the Texas spirit, rocking boots or cowboy hats as they made their way down the red carpet. Mets first baseman Pete Alonso and Braves pitcher Reynaldo Lopez both went that route. So did Reds pitcher Hunter Greene, who made his first All-Star appearance in style.

Phillies star first baseman Bryce Harper did it best though, moseying down the carpet wearing a classic Texas ensemble — a white cowboy hat and shirt with a pair of light-wash blue jeans and boots. He brought the Texas-sized belt buckle to match, too.

Young guys make their mark

A few of baseball’s young stars drew attention on the red carpet alongside established veterans. On the top of that list was Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, who walked down the carpet with his girlfriend, gymnast and influencer Olivia Dunne.

Skenes has been dominant during his rookie season, earning an All-Star nod and being chosen to start the All-Star Game for the National League. He looked good in a white suit and black tie, but it was Dunne’s shimmering dress drawing looks on the red carpet.

Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman wore one of the most unique outfits on the red carpet. His head-to-toe Saint-Laurent ensemble brought a relaxed vibe to the show.
