Laurell K. Hamilton, Shay Youngblood, Devri Walls among authors on tour Aug. 5-11 in D-FW

Hamilton will discuss the latest book in her Anita Blake series.

Shay Youngblood will discuss Black Girl in Paris at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at The Dallas Morning News Reading and Games Room in Klyde Warren Park, 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas, as part of the Locals Only book club.

Poets Lisa Huffaker and Christopher Soden will read their work at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at The Wild Detectives, 314 W. Eighth St., Dallas. An open mic will follow.

Antonia Williams-Gary will present Reclaimed: A Memoir at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at The Wild Detectives.
