World-renowned evolutionary biologist, author and intellectual Richard Dawkins is coming to Dallas to discuss his latest work in what he says will be his final tour of the United States.
Known for his advocacy of science and reason, the 83-year-old Dawkins is the bestselling author of such books as The Selfish Gene, The God Delusion and Unweaving the Rainbow. His upcoming book, The Genetic Book of the Dead, due out Sept. 17, delves into the transformative potential of DNA to further our understanding of evolution.
In “An Evening with Richard Dawkins and Friends,” the British scientist aims to connect with audiences via unscripted conversations touching on topics such as science, religion, and life on Earth and beyond. The event will be Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Winspear Opera House. Admission is $54-$97.
