Bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell will discuss his new book, Revenge of the Tipping Point, in a conversation with KERA-FM host and managing editor Krys Boyd on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Tickets for the event, presented by Interabang Books, will be available Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. at eventbrite.com. A limited number of free tickets will be available. For $32, guests can attend the event and get a signed copy of the book. A $50 VIP package includes a personalized signed copy as well as a meet-and-greet with Gladwell, with advance entry beginning at 5 p.m., an hour before doors open for general admission.
Revenge of the Tipping Point, which is due out Oct. 1, is the follow-up to Gladwell’s 2000 book The Tipping Point, which examines some of the sociological changes that mark everyday life. That title and his next six books (Blink, Outliers, What the Dog Saw, David and Goliath, Talking to Strangers and The Bomber Mafia) have all been New York Times bestsellers. Gladwell is a longtime staff writer for The New Yorker and the co-founder of Pushkin Industries, an audio company that produces Revisionist History, among other podcasts and audiobooks.
Boyd has been the host of KERA’s midday show Think since 2006.
Highland Park United Methodist Church is at 3300 Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
