Film series to screen queer classic ‘Beau Travail’ at Texas Theatre drive-in

It’s just one entry from ‘Pleasure Style Attitude’ — or PSA — coming to Texas Theatre’s Sunset Drive-In in Dallas.

‘Pleasure Style Attitude” — a film series that aims to create discussions around queerness, politics, race and class — returns Thursday with Beau Travail at the Texas Theatre Sunset Drive-In.

Set in Djibouti, the film explores the repression of homoerotic desire among a troop of French Legionnaires. It’s full of sublime imagery and features an unforgettable ending.

Catch this rare art house drive-in experience from the safety of your car, fuzzy radio and all, in the parking lot behind the Texas Theatere. In addition to this live showing, PSA will continue to host virtual screenings this fall.
