The Dallas Opera has canceled all performances and programs for the rest of the season. But that hasn’t stopped its musicians from putting on virtual shows.
For the second day in a row, the Dallas Opera took to Facebook Live, where soprano Jocelyn Hansen performed musical theater excerpts like George Gershwin’s “Embraceable You,” “Have Confidence” from The Sound of Music and “I Could’ve Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady. She was accompanied by Emily Baltzer on piano.
The sound quality and video were a bit glitchy at times. But, hey, desperate times call for desperate measures.
