In town for his concert at AT&T Stadium on Aug. 14, The Weeknd spent the weekend exploring Dallas — and some of the week, too.
Before Abel Tesfaye — better known by his stage name The Weeknd — stopped at the Arlington venue for his After Hours Til Dawn Tour, the musician made sure to soak up the sights of the city. He posted a photo on his Instagram story in front of a biblical painting at the Dallas Museum of Art, and was spotted at the Dallas World Aquarium with rumored love interest Simi Khadra.

But one day of sightseeing wasn’t enough for the four-time Grammy winner. After singing tracks from his 2020 album After Hours and his 2022′s Dawn FM Sunday night, The Weeknd reportedly spent Monday strolling around the Bishop Arts District, where he was spotted by a number of hawk-eyed fans.
One person caught a video of him chowing down at Emporium Pies. Another captured him ambling across the street from Dolly on Bishop. One diner at Hunky’s snapped a covert photo of the 32-year-old musician standing outside the burger joint.

One lucky fan, who works at the Wow Wow Lemonade Stand on W. Eighth Street, even had the honor of whipping up a drink for the musician — and snapping a selfie with him, of course.

The Weeknd was originally supposed to appear in Dallas and Fort Worth in the summer of 2020 to headline shows at American Airlines Center and Dickies Arena, but the pandemic forced him to wait until now for his long-awaited tour.
His next performance is in Denver on Aug. 18 as he continues the North American leg of his tour.
