To be indoors or not for ‘Hamlet,’ Shakespeare Dallas says yes to a dramatic change

Shakespeare Dallas' brand-new winter season, which will feature its first indoor production, 'Hamlet,' at Moody Performance Hall.

For more than four decades, Shakespeare Dallas has presented Shakespeare under the stars. But as Hamlet said, "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." And one of those things is Shakespeare Dallas' brand-new winter season, which will feature its first indoor production, Hamlet, at Moody Performance Hall.

Seth Magill will star as the brooding prince who struggles with how to deal with his uncle, the king, whom he suspects of poisoning his father and stealing his throne. The production will feature a smaller cast with the aim of delivering a more intimate experience.

Details

Jan. 11-20 at Moody Performance Hall, 2520 Flora St., Dallas. $25-$35. shakespearedallas.org.
