Grand Prairie Farmers Market — voted No. 1 in Texas — will open one more time this year

A Dallas-area gem and arguably the state’s best market to shop for local-grown food and craft products will end its season after Saturday.

If you’re looking to knock out some Christmas shopping this weekend, consider heading to Grand Prairie.

The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will host its last market of the season on Saturday. It will reopen March 5, 2022.

Farmers and artisans will sell locally grown fruits and vegetables, plants, tamales, bread and baked goods, salsas, dips, relishes, eggs, honey, soaps, lotions, candles, and more.
