As the holiday season comes to a close, Plano has announced that there are still some festive things to do in the city, including family-friendly performances.
Here is a listing of some of the things happening in January in Plano.
The Frozen Kingdom
The Plano Metropolitan Ballet will perform The Frozen Kingdom during a series of weekend performances Jan. 6-21.
The performance is based on the story of Disney’s Frozen.
Since 1998, the company has transformed a well-known fairy tale into an original ballet that debuts in January.
Performances will be held at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Ave., Plano.

Pride and Prejudice
A performance of Jane Austen’s classic 1813 novel, Pride and Prejudice, comes to life in what organizers describe as a “refreshingly fast-paced and engaging new adaptation.”
This family-friendly show centers on the story of a woman who faces pressure from her mother and four sisters over finding a husband.
Performances will be held Jan. 5-16 at the ArtCentre Theatre, 1400 Summit Ave., Plano.

Four Weddings and an Elvis
Four Weddings and an Elvis centers on the comical goings-on at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. Included are a couple getting married by Elvis in revenge on their exes; arrogant, aging stars who tie the knot as a publicity stunt; a ceremony that must happen before the police arrive; and the nuptials of the wedding chapel owner herself.
Performances take place Jan. 12-28 at Rover Dramawerks, 1517 H Ave., Plano.

Holistic Festival
Human Embrace and Mystic Mandala, in association with the Crystal Corner Plano, is hosting a two-day holistic health and wellness market.
The event takes place Jan. 14-15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Oak Point Nature and Retreat Center, 5901 Los Rios Blvd.
The market roadshow will offer opportunities to network and grow a business. It also focusing on providing wellness products, resources and information to the community.
The event will also include nature walks, yoga, meditation, sound healing, health talks and workshops, live music, and more.
Tickets are $5-$8. Parking is free.

Bonnie and Clyde
Bonnie and Clyde highlights the Great Depression story of how Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two unknowns from West Texas to renowned folk heroes and a nightmare for Texas law enforcement.
The story is based on the Tony-nominated Bonnie & Clyde, by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, Civil War, Dracula), and tells their story of love, adventure and crime.
Parents are advised that this presentation is suggested for audience members over age 12, due to adult themes, mild language and sexual content.
Performances take place Jan. 19-21 at the Willow Bend Center for the Arts, 6121 W. Park Blvd.
