Injured Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is honored with a new mural in Grand Prairie

In August, artist Juan Velazquez paid tribute to local boxer Vergil Ortiz Jr. Now, he’s painting Dak.

Dak Prescott is getting the Velazquez treatment.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, whose resilience following a season-ending ankle injury Sunday has touched fans and opposing teams alike, is the subject of Fort Worth artist Juan Velazquez’s latest mural in Grand Prairie.
