Previously, he interned at the Houston Chronicle covering state politics, as well as at the San Antonio Express-News on the paper's metro desk and the Austin American-Statesman on its state desk. He is a journalism major from the University of Texas at Austin, and while there, he's worked way too many semesters at his college paper, The Daily Texan.
