Southlake Town Square is about to look more vibrant

A new city ordinance will allow the iconic development more leeway for more compelling signage.

Southlake Town Square is ready for a makeover.

Besides this fall’s mural, which is likely to add a splash of color to the red-brick proceedings, a new city ordinance recently passed that allows the development “greater flexibility for the provision of signage, administrative approval of storefront facade designs.”

The modifications to the ordinance also relieve some restrictions on the use of branding colors for the businesses, allowing for greater variety and diversity in signage.
