  • Black-owned businesses: The list was originally curated during the summer of 2020, amid the surge in protests that stemmed from the death of George Floyd. It was updated in advance of Black History Month in February and again during June. In Frisco, these businesses range from bakeries and music production companies to interior design and IT services.
  • Women-owned businesses: The list was originally compiled in February, in celebration of Women’s History Month. Women serve as accountants, real estate agents and optometrists, and they own hair salons, gyms and restaurants.
  • Dog-friendly patios: The list was compiled during early spring to encourage pet owners to bring their pups out for play. Dog-friendly patios can be found at traditional restaurants, coffee shops, gastrobars and more.
