The Core 5 Logistics Center at Wintergreen industrial project is owned by Cabot Properties.
“This deal represents the continued expansion of home improvement suppliers in the industry and the major reasons why Dallas-Fort Worth is an important regional distribution hub destination for national suppliers,” Cushman & Wakefield’s Adam Curran said in a statement.
Curran negotiated the big distribution transaction along with Cushman & Wakefield’s David Eseke, Gary Collett and Jeff Eisenhart.
The new SiteOne facility is near the Union Pacific Railway Intermodal Center and the FedEx Ground hub on I-45.
Based in Roswell, SiteOne distributes a wide variety of products for landscaping and home improvements, including irrigation equipment, nursery supplies, lighting and outdoor living items.
The company currently has a distribution location in northwest Dallas.
The Wilmer-Hutchins area along I-45 where SiteOne is locating has been one of the fastest-growing warehousing and shipping districts in North Texas, will millions of square feet of new industrial space.
