Shared office firm heads to Allen for new coworking location

Shared office firm WorkSuites is moving into the Allen Place office complex in Allen.

Coworking firm WorkSuites has snagged a spot in Allen for a new shared office location.

The flexible office space provider leased almost 20,000 square feet in the Allen Place building at 450 Century Parkway near U.S. Highway 75.

The Allen office will be the 20th location for the coworking firm, which previously operated as Meridian Business Centers.

"Obviously the metroplex has been expanding to the north for a long time, and we get so many requests for office space north of Plano," WorkSuites founder Flip Howard said. "We are very excited to finally have a location to serve the Allen-McKinney market."

John Pelletier, Austin Studebaker and Greg Burns of ESRP negotiated the WorkSuites lease with Susan Singer, Jared Laake and Richmond Collinsworth of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.

"Located less than one mile from Watters Creek and the Allen Convention Center complex, this location will offer WorkSuites members the opportunity to enjoy the best of Allen's numerous amenities in addition to those offered in the center itself," Pelletier said in a statement.

The office will open in March.
