A new Las Colinas apartment community will have a lakeside address.
Developer Legacy Partners is building the 293-unit rental project on Lake Carolyn.
The project is one of several apartment communities on the way in the Las Colinas Urban Center on State Highway 114.
"Legacy Lakeshore embodies the evolution of the rapidly growing Las Colinas community," Bob Panizo, Legacy Partners' vice president of development, said in a statement. "The building's modern amenities and design create a lakeside living experience unlike anything else in the area."
The rental units will offer lake views, a fitness center, outdoor kitchens with grilling stations, a pool and hot spa and a dock with paddleboards and kayaks for residents' use.
The rental community is being financed by BMO Harris Bank. REES Associates Inc. is the architect, and Dallas-based KWA Construction is the general contractor.
Legacy Partners will build the development with HGC Investment Management. The first units will be ready in early 2021.
Legacy Partners is based in San Francisco and has been in business since 1968. The apartment builder has offices in California, Colorado, Florida, Texas and Washington, and has developed more than 60,000 units.
Dallas-Fort Worth is the country's top apartment-building market with over 40,000 rental units in the development pipeline. Las Colinas is one of the area's busiest apartment construction markets.
