Retail and office development on the way in Little Elm

Denton County project will be aimed at small businesses.

Developers in the Denton County town of Little Elm have broken ground on a new mixed-use development.

The 43,000-square-foot office and retail project is near the southwest corner of FM 423 and King Road.

Called King Plaza, the development is being build in a partnership of King Road Realty and Leezaspace Online Portal.

The 4-acre project includes 23,000 square feet of retail space and four offices totaling 20,000 square feet. The condo office buildings are aimed at medical and professional businesses.

Developer Ravi Kumar of King Road Realty said the project will give small businesses more opportunity in the Little Elm and Frisco markets.

“The project King Plaza will become the new commercial hub of Little Elm and Frisco with its state-of-the-art facilities and innovative architectural excellence,” project partner Louis Ramirez said in a statement.

Construction on King Plaza is set for completion later this year.
