New Fort Worth building will have ‘robotic’ parking garage

The six-story Triune Centre building is planning valet-style parking with a handling system to lift and store the vehicles.

An office building on the way in Fort Worth will have something different — a fully automated parking garage.

The six-story Triune Centre building is planned southwest of downtown near the intersection of Interstate 30, Montgomery Street and Chisholm Trail Parkway.

The 30,000-square-foot project’s “fully automated, robotic, palleted vehicle handling system will offer a valet-style parking service,” according to Cornerstone Projects Group and Trident Structures, which are planning the building.

While uncommon in the U.S., such garages mechanically lift and store vehicles.

The developers say the garage will take up less space and is more convenient.

“We are excited to be able to debut this state-of-the-art valet parking system in the city of Fort Worth,” Ben Trantham, president of Trident Structures, said in a statement. “Triune Centre will offer future tenants unrivaled convenience and flexibility.”

Dallas-based Stream Realty Partners is marketing the development.

“Triune Centre integrates access and technology to provide tenants with a unique office space,” Nolan Bradshaw, president and owner of Cornerstone Projects Group, said in a statement.
