California-based medical firm plans new Lewisville building

Steri-Tek's new North Texas facility will open next year.

A California-based medical firm is building a new facility in Lewisville.

Back in November, Stei-Tek purchased a 34,000-square-foot warehouse at 1206 N. Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville. The Fremont, Calif.-based company is now planning to build a more than 100,000-square-foot office and technical building on the site. The almost $13 million project would replace an existing building that was previously used for vehicle storage and sales.

“We will have construction completed by July 1, 2021,” Steri-Tek’s Jeff Sauter said in an email.

The new building will be an E-beam and X-ray sterilization facility to serve Steri-Tek’s medical clients.
