Industrial builder snaps up Mesquite development sites

Dalfen Industrial buys almost 40 acres on East Scyene.

An industrial building developer has purchased almost 40 acres in Mesquite for future construction. Dalfen Industrial bought two properties on East Scyene Road near the airport.

Younger Partners’ John St. Clair and Jack Gail brokered the sale.

“These parcels were attractive to the buyer, who already has a presence in Mesquite and is an experienced industrial developer, because of their location within the quickly emerging Mesquite market,” St. Clair said in a statement. “This part of Mesquite, along with nearby Sunnyvale, has emerged as a solid industrial submarket. This area was previously overlooked but has turned into a solid in-fill industrial location.”

Dalfen Industrial has a 45-acre industrial park on East Kearney Street near Interstate 635 in Mesquite.

The commercial property firm in December also purchased the Peachtree Distribution Center, a 396,750-square-foot industrial property at 510 Peachtree Drive in Mesquite.

Dalfen is an investor and developer of industrial properties in the U.S. and Canada. The company has been in the commercial real estate business since 1970 and entered the U.S. market in 1990.

Dalfen owns multiple industrial properties in Dallas-Fort Worth. Dalfen Industrial currently owns and operates millions of square feet of industrial properties throughout North America.
