Dallas law firm moves up the tollway to Plano

Legacy business park high-rise lands new lease with the intellectual property firm.

A Dallas law firm has relocated its offices to Plano.

Intellectual property firm Carstens, Allen & Gourley leased a floor in the One Legacy Circle office tower on the Dallas North Tollway in Legacy business park. The 12,500-square-foot lease is on the third floor of the recently renovated high-rise.

Carstens, Allen & Gourley previously occupied an office in Far North Dallas near the Galleria. Founded in 1998, the firm also has offices in Waco and Denver.

“We are excited to have a new office that provides us with a fresh, modern workspace with outstanding amenities at a convenient location for our attorneys and clients” in Dallas-Fort Worth, said Carstens, Allen & Gourley managing partner Vince Allen. “Our firm has a firm belief in the importance of personal interaction in the workplace, and we look forward to hosting regular educational events for our clients, prospective clients and friends at our new home office.”

Built in 2008, One Legacy Circle is owned by Franklin Street Properties. Recent upgrades have been made to the building lobby, tenant lounge and meeting training facilities.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Russ Johnson and Lauren Perry negotiated the law firm lease with Roy Reis and Jim Hazard of Cresa.

“As people’s workdays become more flexible, their office needs to follow suit. One Legacy Circle is uniquely equipped to adapt to any tenant’s office needs,” Johnson said.

One Legacy Circle is on the east side of the tollway north of Legacy Drive. It’s adjacent to the Shops at Legacy restaurant and retail center.

The office district along the tollway in West Plano and Frisco has been the top leasing market in North Texas this year.
