This Highland Park home has 4 fireplaces to put you in a fall mood

The Tudor-style home is three stories tall, and there is a separate quarters above the garage.

If the cooler (for Texas) weather hasn’t put you in a fall mood, this house on the market in Highland Park might.

The Tudor-style home was built in 2005 and has four fireplaces, a wood-paneled study and a cozy bedroom on the third level. The home is 7,303 square feet, according to the listing, and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.

The home at 3628 Maplewood Ave. is on a 0.37-acre corner lot with landscaping that surrounds the home, offering privacy from the street. Inside the home, a foyer with a coved ceiling sets the tone for the warm, cozy space. The home’s dining room is at the front of the home, near the foyer. A study with warm-toned wood paneling is to the left of the foyer. In the study, there are two wine coolers, a wet bar and a fireplace.

Listing agent Ralph Randall of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty said that the home has many details that fit the style of the home but are “unique for today” — like the copper sinks, light fixtures and vent hood in the kitchen. He said the abundant windows and natural light make the home flexible in terms of design.

The home’s great room is a large, long space with views of the backyard. The room has wood beams along the ceiling and a large fireplace on one end. A door along the back of the space provides access to the back patio. Nearby, the kitchen is spacious, with a large island in the center and a living space with a fireplace on one end. There is also a home office on the first floor.

All of the bedrooms are on the upper levels. The primary suite, two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a game room are on the second level. The third level includes another bedroom, a bathroom and an exercise room. Randall said the exercise room could be used as a fifth bedroom.

The primary suite has a fireplace in the bedroom and enough space for a sitting area. A coffee bar and refrigerator drawers, with a nearby sink, are in the hallway that leads from the bedroom to the closets and bathrooms. The suite has two large walk-in closets and a bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, a shower, two sinks and a vanity area.

Outside, the home has covered patio space, an outdoor grilling area, a pool and a spa. The property’s three-car, detached garage has a bathroom and a small kitchen area that serves the pool. Above the garage, there is a living quarters complete with a kitchenette, living area, bedroom, full bathroom and multiple closets.

The home is listed for $7.495 million.
