Fort Worth shopping hub goes to Oklahoma investor

The Shops at Chisholm Trail Ranch in Southwest Fort Worth is almost fully leased.

An Oklahoma-based investor has snapped up a large shopping center in southwestern Fort Worth.

The Shops at Chisholm Trail Ranch, a 213,416-square-foot retail center on Chisholm Trail Parkway and McPherson Boulevard, is about 13 miles from downtown Fort Worth.

The shopping center is part of Chisholm Trail Ranch, a 600-acre master-planned community with hundreds of homes.

The retail center is more than 97% leased to tenants including Studio Movie Grill, Ulta, Old Navy, Ross, Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, Five Below, Famous Footwear, Pet Supplies Plus, James Avery and Crumbl.

The property attracts more than 1.7 million visitors a year, according to commercial property firm Jones Lang LaSalle, which brokered the sale.

Oklahoma City-based Mazaheri Properties acquired the shopping center from seller Street Level Investments.

JLL’s Chris Gerard, Barry Brown and Matthew Barge worked on the deal. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

Mazaheri Properties is a more than 30-year-old property firm with retail and medical building holdings mostly in Oklahoma.
