A San Antonio-based builder that’s doing multiple North Texas apartment projects is headed to Southlake for its next deal.
Kairoi Residential is just opening rental communities in Uptown Dallas and North Oak Cliff.
The developer has other apartment projects on the way near Highland Park and in Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards district.
Kairoi Residential is also targeting a site at Southlake Town Square near State Highway 114.
The 55-unit development on Central Avenue is set to start this summer and open in 2025.
The $55 million, five-level project was designed by GDA Architects, according to planning documents filed with the state.
Kairoi Residential principal Tyler Sibley said in an email that the planned Southlake apartments will “provide an even more elevated experience and service level” than other rental communities.
The high-end apartments are planned in an area already seeing construction.
Plano-based Granite Properties is developing its second Granite Place office building next to Southlake Town Square.
Kairoi Residential expanded to the North Texas market in 2017 when it built the 297-unit Amelia at Farmers Market rental community in downtown Dallas.
The developer recently announced plans for a new rental project on Travis Street just south of Knox near Highland Park.
