Data center campus being planned for a 100-acre site in Lancaster

The multi-building project is planned east of Interstate 35E.

Developers have acquired a more than 100-acre building site in Lancaster with plans to build a major technology complex.

Dallas-based Bandera Ventures bought the property at South Dallas Avenue and Old Red Oak Road, east of Interstate 35E. The purchase for the Lancaster Data Center Campus property signals the latest data center project headed to southern Dallas County.

“Skybox Datacenters and Bandera are partnered on that site,” said Haynes Strader, chief development officer for Skybox. “It will be a multi-building campus.”
