A sprawling lakefront estate once owned by Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels is on the market again.

The 19-bedroom, 24-bathroom property in Stone County, Mo., listed for $14.5 million in late February. The gated home sits on 104 acres with over 1,700 feet of shoreline overlooking Table Rock Lake.

The property includes a five-bedroom, six-bathroom guest annex with a three-car garage and an RV/boat storage building. The annex has 3,600 square feet of living area, and there’s also a private three-stall boat dock with a swim platform.

Including garages, nearly 60,000 square feet of the property is under roof. It is the second-largest estate in the Branson area, ReeceNichols listing agent Jim Strong told The Dallas Morning News.

“It looks like Disney World,” Strong said. “It’s a one-of-a-kind property.”

Construction on the property is not completed, and the home is being sold in its current condition.

Hamels donated the home in 2017 to Camp Barnabas, a nonprofit charitable organization that provides help to individuals with special needs and chronic illnesses and their siblings, The News previously reported.

The current owner purchased the estate from the charity about two and a half years ago, Strong said.

The property has changed a bit since Hamels lived at the estate. The main structure wasn’t finished when he left, and the current owner turned Hamels’ former pitching facility into the guest annex, Strong said.

Hamels, a four-time All-Star, played in MLB from 2006 to 2020. He is best known for his stint with the Philadelphia Phillies where he won the 2008 World Series MVP.

Hamels and his ex-wife, Heidi, began building the Missouri mansion when he played for the Phillies.

When Hamels was traded to the Rangers in 2015, the couple relocated to the Dallas area, Relator.com reported.

Hamels played for the Rangers from 2015 to 2018, where he racked up one All-Star selection.

Hamels retired in 2023. Over his career, Hamels tallied 163 wins, 2,560 strikeouts and a 3.43 ERA while playing for the Phillies, Rangers, Cubs and Braves.
