Headquarters building for Dallas real estate firm gets start date

Stillwater Capital will now co-develop the building with Pacific Elm Properties, another local firm.

Work will move ahead on a multi-level office building on Travis Street near Turtle Creek in Dallas for Stillwater Capital’s headquarters early next year.

The Dallas-based real estate firm, which has been involved in projects such as PGA Frisco, Haggard Farms and Forney Logistics Crossing, has been eyeing the ground-up project near the Katy Trail for a few years.

Now, it has added Pacific Elm Properties, which is also based in Dallas and is led by CEO Jonas Woods, as co-developer on the project.

Construction is set to begin early next year on the Class AA boutique office building at 4145 Travis St. off of Fitzhugh Avenue.

It will span 60,000 square feet of office space, which is already 50% pre-leased ahead of construction. Average floor sizes are 14,000 square feet.

The building is expected to have on-site, high-end food and beverage options, in addition to access to the Katy Trail.

The new Stillwater headquarters building went before the Oak Lawn Committee in 2022.

At the time, the firm’s presentation to the neighborhood group noted it sought additional space for its team.

“In addition to their expansion needs, the company desires to significantly enhance the quality of office space in the area,” the presentation said.

Stillwater previously held its base of operations at the smaller office building at 4145 Travis St. and relocated to a suite within 2515 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas.
