The normal weekend trek to the mall is off limits in Dallas.
Both NorthPark Center and Galleria Dallas have closed temporarily, joining other shopping centers in the region that are shutting doors as a response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Both shopping centers said they’ll be closed indefinitely, but some restaurants are offering take-out.
NorthPark closed at 5 p.m. on Friday. Galleria also closed after business on Friday.
Offering takeout at NorthPark are Kona Grill, Maggiano’s Little Italy, P.F. Chang’s and, Seasons 52.
At the Galleria, retailers and restaurants with their own exterior entrance, may have limited operations. The Grill on the Alley and Grand Lux are open for takeout orders. Nordstrom will continue curb-side pick-up from its level 1 green garage entry.
“We admire and respect the important work being done by so many to protect us during this critical time,” NorthPark said in a note to customers. “We must all do our part.”
