Here are the new stores and restaurants coming to Southlake Town Square

It will be the second North Texas location for the 'athleisure' brand Fabletics, and there will also be a new location of popular chicken emporium Whistle Britches.

Leggings mecca Fabletics is the latest retailer to give Southlake Town Square a workout.

On July 9, the Kate Hudson-backed athleisure brand will open a 2,000-square-foot store in the open-air shopping center. The space is next to Corner Bakery, which fronts Southlake Boulevard.

With co-CEOs Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg, Hudson launched the subscription-based line in 2013 on a mission to offer accessibly priced activewear, often in brightly hued patterns and styles.

The brand has since expanded to standalone stores. This will be the second North Texas location for the company, which also has a storefront at Legacy West in Plano.

  • Underwear haven Tommy John is making a play into expanding its brick-and-mortar business with a new location on Main Street. Its only other Texas address is at the Galleria in Houston.
  • And Canadian-based chain Moxie’s Bar & Grill, which is owned by Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi and has locations in Uptown at The Crescent and in Plano, will complete the retailing hat trick with a restaurant in Town Square.
