Legacy West’s luxury coup continues in Plano with Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. openings

The two brands are the latest additions to the $3 billion retail, restaurant, apartment and office development off the Dallas North Tollway.

Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. opened today in Legacy West, rounding out a handful of top luxury brands that just moved into what has become a leading destination for shopping and entertainment in Collin County.

The two brands, along with Gucci, Tory Burch and Chanel Beauty, which opened this spring, were a big score for Legacy West.

The shops are in a new building on Windrose Avenue across from the food hall and bring the development’s retail and restaurant space total to 341,552 square feet. The property has more than 60 stores and restaurants, including Neighborhood Goods, West Elm, Frontgate and more recently Free People and Nike.

The Louis Vuitton store’s exterior has its signature monogram flower design. Inside, the company commissioned work by two Plano artists. Kelly Steller Hrad’s Rayee 1872 uses overlapping layers of vibrant vertical stripes and was painted specifically for the location. And Melissa Ellis’ Aquanova is a boldly sculptural painting from her “Starburst” series, featuring multicolored petals of oil paint.

Tiffany & Co. is almost 2,500 square feet and is filled with natural light shining through large storefront windows and into display cases featuring diamonds and its latest collection, Tiffany T1.

Tiffany jewelry has incorporated the “T” design since the early 1980s, and the company launched T1 last year as a line that can be worn every day and that people buy for themselves. T1 prices range from $850 to $28,000.
