Watch this drone’s-eye view of people descending on H-E-B’s Frisco store

At least 1,500 people were in line when the grocery store opened Wednesday.

H-E-B’s highly anticipated expansion into Dallas-Fort Worth officially got underway Wednesday when it opened its Frisco store.

Employee greeters worked the crowd as tunes such as Montell Jordan’s This is How We Do It blared. When the doors opened at 6 a.m., it took 24 minutes for the fast-moving line to end. H-E-B employees passed out $25 gift cards and other freebies.

The store at 4800 Main St. in Frisco is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
