Last year, the first Día de los Muertos parade through downtown Dallas attracted thousands of people. It was to be repeated this year but has been postponed until 2021 because of COVID-19. Instead organizers will host a three-day market featuring arts and crafts and food vendors selling items for families to celebrate at home. There will also be daily live entertainment, a lowrider car show, a makeover demonstration, a fashion show and a contest inspired by La Catrina, the lady skeleton character.
