Dallas Black Dance Theatre performs “The Mourner’s Bench,” a 1947 solo piece by Talley Beatty that focuses on the struggle with social inequity in the rural South after the Civil War. The show also features “ODETTA” by Matthew Rushing set to music by Odetta Holmes, which focuses on the civil rights era.
Tickets are available Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. through Feb. 21 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets are $30 per household.
