Want to dine out with your doggo? Here are some pup-friendly patios around Allen

National Dog Day is approaching. Here’s a list of paws-ible spots where you can dine out with your best friend.

With National Dog Day approaching on Thursday, it’s time to trot out the pups.

To celebrate this occasion, we compiled a list of dog-friendly restaurants and bars to visit in Allen. Most require the dogs to remain on leashes and on patios.

  • Village Burger: This restaurant in Watters Creek features paninis, sandwiches, beer on top, rings and fries and a dog-friendly patio. The pups need to stay on the leash, though. 957 Garden Park Drive
  • BoomerJack’s Grill & Bar: The bar and restaurant serves beers at a chilly 29 degrees, features a gluten-free friendly, kid-friendly and dog-friendly environment. Dogs are welcome on the patio, but must stay on a leash. 131 E Stacy Road
  • Bar Louie: The gastrobar serves a number of cocktails, bar snacks and meals. Dogs are allowed on the patio with a leash. 190 East Stacy Road, Suite 1000
  • CRU Food and Wine Bar: This four-state chain that serves brunch and dinner allows dogs on the patio. They also provide water bowls for dogs upon request. 842 Watters Creek Blvd., Suite 100
  • Dodie’s Cajun Bar & Grill: The restaurant and bar serves traditional Cajun dishes, including jambalaya, gumbo and blackened chicken. Leashed dogs are allowed on the patio. 190 East Stacy Road, Suite 1320
  • Frogg Coffee Bar and Creperie: Serving crepes, coffee and more, the cafe welcomes dogs onto its patio. 832 Watters Creek Blvd.
  • Kelly’s at the Village: The restaurant and bar serves dozens of draft beers and tasty dishes, including chicken and waffles, grilled cheese, sliders and more. Leashed dogs are allowed on the patio and water dishes will be provided. 190 East Stacy Road
  • Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar: The restaurant offers various lunch and dinner dishes, weekend brunch and a lengthy bar menu. Leashed dogs are allowed on the patio. 1851 North Central Expressway
  • Mutts Canine Cantina: The restaurant-bar dog park is expected to open soon in Watters Creek. Dogs will be able to run freely, and treats for pups can be purchased. 1070 Watters Creek Blvd.
