Dallas woman launches line of food-based soaps (but don’t eat them!)

Marie Kadesky’s Sudlty Soaps are inspired by foods and drinks like coffee, chocolate, lemon, beer and more.

While sheltering at home in Preston Hollow after the start of the pandemic, former Disney employee and art graduate Marie Kadesky discovered her creative passion: soapmaking and milling.

In late 2020, she launched Sudlty Soaps and Sundries, a line of soaps made from essential oils, herbs, and other premium ingredients. The oils used in the soaps are made from Kadesky’s garden of herbs and flowers, her fridge of fruits and vegetables, and her pantry of coffees, teas and spices. The bar also is a player in the game, as she sometimes adds beer and wine to the mix.

Sudlty also offers baby soaps without additives, and pet soaps scented with cedarwood and geranium.
