As Arlington continues to make changes to combat the spread of the coronavirus, restaurants have had to adapt to continue serving their customers.
But on April 27, Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order allowing restaurants to reopen their dining rooms May 1 at 25% of their maximum capacity.
A number of Arlington restaurants have made the decision to reopen their dining areas, while others will remain offering only to-go options. Check below to see where your favorite restaurant stands.
All the restaurants reopening their dining areas must abide by the following criteria, according to the order:
- Diners and employees must be at least six feet apart, including those waiting for a table.
- Tables of more than six are not allowed.
- Restaurants are asked to consider having employees wear cloth face coverings or non-medical face masks.
- Bars, which are classified as establishments that make 51% or more of their revenue in alcohol sales, are not allowed to reopen dine-in service.
