This NYC pizzeria is opening a restaurant at The Village at Allen

Numero 28 is bringing Neapolitan-style pizza and Italian classics to the outdoor shopping mall.

Numero 28, a New York City-based restaurant concept specializing in Neapolitan-style pizza and classic Italian dishes, will soon join the list of businesses at The Village at Allen.

The chain has seven locations across the U.S., including one in Austin, and it appears the Allen restaurant will be the first in Dallas-Fort Worth. The pizzeria is under construction and hasn’t yet set an opening date, according to The Village at Allen.

The menu for Numero 28′s Austin location offers a variety of pizzas, starters, salads, paninis and entrees.

Classic Italian dishes include carpaccio di manzo—a layer of thinly sliced raw beef, topped with arugula, shaved parmesan cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette—and the arancina tradizionale, a saffron spiced risotto ball stuffed with Bolognese meat sauce and green peas, served with a side of house-made tomato sauce.
