Bishop Arts staple Emporium Pies opens new shop in Fort Worth’s Southside District

The new space is Emporium Pies’ fourth since opening its flagship in the Bishop Arts District in 2012.

Nearly a decade after opening its first shop, Oak Cliff staple Emporium Pies is expanding to the west side of the D-FW Metroplex.

The beloved pie shop celebrated the grand opening of its first Forth Worth location at 411 S. Main St. on April 23 after years of fielding requests from devout customers. The new shop is currently offering pickup only but plans to offer dining room services by the end of the year.

Now, Fort Worth residents won’t have to travel far to indulge in hand-made favorites like the Drunken Nut, a bourbon-pecan pie with shortbread crust or Lord of the Pies, a deep-dish apple pie with house-made caramel and a crispy cinnamon streusel.
