This Garland coffee shop introduced a line of ‘Gilmore Girls’-inspired drinks for fall

Rosalind Coffee — known as Luke’s for the time being — has introduced a new line of drinks inspired by the popular 2000s comedy-drama TV show ‘Gilmore Girls.’

“This is a jumbo coffee morning. I need coffee in an IV,” Gilmore Girls protagonist Lorelai Gilmore once said of her coffee addiction.

Fellow coffee snobs and aficionados in Garland and neighboring cities won’t need an IV to get a Gilmore Girls-inspired coffee: They can get it locally in downtown Garland.

Rosalind Coffee — also known as Luke’s to stay consistent with the Gilmore Girls-inspired menu — created a line of fall drinks and coffees dedicated to characters from the popular comedy-drama series. (Luke’s Diner was one of the main settings on the show and sets the scene for Lorelai and Luke’s romance.)

The new beverages were introduced last week and will continue to be served for the next couple weeks.

The Emily for example, is a chai spiced latte with pumpkin spice-flavored syrup.

Other drinks are named after Jess (nitro cold brew plus fireside, a combination of cinnamon, cloves and ginger syrup), Michel (a sugar-free crème brûlée latte) and Richard (fireside flat white latte).

A full list of the other Gilmore Girls character-inspired flavors is available on Rosalind Coffee’s Facebook page here.
