Chip’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers opens new location in Oak Cliff

The Dallas burger chain known for its third- and half-pound burgers on poppy-seed buns opened a new location in Oak Cliff on Monday.

Chip’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers has a new restaurant located south of Interstate 30.

The local burger chain opened a new spot in Oak Cliff on Monday. The restaurant, located at 1605 N. Beckley Ave., was previously home to a juice bar that closed down in 2019.

Now loyal fans who live in Oak Cliff won’t have to travel far to enjoy one of Chip’s third- or half-pound burgers served on a poppy-seed bun. The 40-year-old restaurant chain also has locations in Lakewood, Plano and Lover’s Lane near the Dallas North Tollway.
