After spending eight months permanently parked at Tyler Station, Tacos La Gloria is looking for a new home.
The family-run food truck is searching for another location in Oak Cliff and also aims to open a second location in Duncanville some time in the future.
Daisy Wall, daughter of Tacos La Gloria owner Maria Gloria Serrato, told the Dallas Observer that a difference in opinions forced the family to leave.
“We love our customers at Tyler Station, we love Oak Cliff, but we just couldn’t be there any longer,” Wall told the Observer. “My mom was devastated to leave. Everyone has a different experience, but for us, it just didn’t work out.”
Tacos La Gloria began serving its first meals in August 2019 by catering weddings and other events, but the pandemic forced the food truck to shut down in March 2020. After a seven-month hiatus, Tacos La Gloria set up shop at Lancaster’s Swift Station from October to December before relocating to Oak Cliff.
While Tacos La Gloria looks for a new spot, fans can follow the food truck’s Instagram page for updates on where the truck will be parked next.
