Charleys Cheesesteaks will open a new location in Plano next month at 2300 14th St., Suite 130. Known for cheesesteaks, irresistible lemonade, and cheese and bacon fries, Charleys already has several locations in North Texas. More info at charleys.com.
Also next month, Twisted Root Burger Co. will bring just about every type of patty to Plano — sometimes even ostrich and camel. The new spot is located at 1212 14th Street. More info at twistedrootburgerco.com.
Bell’s Sweet Factory is now open. The wildly popular Cajun food truck that has fans including Dak Prescott and Megan Thee Stallion had the grand opening for its brick and mortar location on Saturday. Located at 2109 W. Parker Road. More info at thebellssweetfactory.com.
The second Dave’s Hot Chicken in Dallas-Fort Worth will open Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 in Plano at 8315 Preston Road. Dave’s sells fried chicken tenders in seven spice levels. There were long lines when Dave’s opened in Dallas, so be prepared.
And finally, Hanakin is opening in the old Smashburger location at 6100 W. Park Blvd. #300. Expect sushi and a casual dining atmosphere at the Japanese restaurant and bar, which plans to open on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
