Oregon-based Dutch Bros Coffee continues North Texas expansion

The company hopes to open more than 100 locations throughout Texas in the next two years.

Dutch Bros Coffee has big plans brewing for North Texan coffee drinkers.

The Oregon-based drive-through chain is opening more than a dozen locations in the D-FW area this year and next.

Dutch Bros offers specialty coffee, smoothies, cold brew, teas and energy drinks. Most locations serve customers through drive-thru windows, although some feature walk-up windows and outdoor seating.

Several of the new locations will have no indoor seating and are primarily drive-thru locations, a company developer said.

Other Dallas-Fort Worth locations planned include Fort Worth, Denton, Addison, North Richland Hills, Carrollton and Grapevine.

Dutch Bros has more than 400 locations in 10 states. It made its Texas debut in College Station earlier this year. The company has since opened locations in McKinney, Princeton, Plano, Euless and other nearby cities.

Company spokesperson Rilynn Davis said that within the next two years, the company hopes to have more than 100 locations throughout the state.
