Tapville Social is slated to bring several eccentric restaurant-bar concepts to North Texas later this year.
The brand plans to open a Tapville Eatery and Self-Pour location in Grapevine this summer, in addition to two Tapville kiosks in Dallas and Fort Worth. Kiosks have opened inside shopping centers and malls throughout the nation, but Tapville has not publicly announced the specific sites for the North Texas kiosks.
Tapville is also bringing a mobile taproom to Abilene, about three hours west of Dallas, which is available for private events and offers 16 self-pour taps of craft beer, wine and cider from a beverage trailer.
The new Tapville Eatery and Self-Pour location in Grapevine, located at 3540 N. Grapevine Mills Blvd., Ste. 110, will have an indoor dining room and patio seating with a full-service restaurant and bar and a self-pour beer and wine wall. Additionally, Tapville offers daily specialty alcohol flights, consisting of margarita and taco flights on Tuesday; cocktail and cheesecake flights on Wednesday; spiked lemonade flights on Thursday and mimosa brunch flights served Friday through Sunday.
“Grapevine and the surrounding (Dallas-Fort Worth) Metropolitan market makes this the ideal location for Tapville’s fun and innovative restaurant concept,” restaurant franchisee Rob Kliner said in a news release.
The online menu for the Grapevine location isn’t available online. However, the menus of other Tapville locations include quick bites — such as chicken tataki skewers, cheese curds and cauliflower bites — and shareable appetizers, as well as salads, burgers and sandwiches. Tapville also serves street tacos, shrimp tacos, baja tacos and elote Mexican street corn tacos.
The restaurant’s signature entrees consists of short ribs, pasta primavera, blackened cod, Cajun pasta, shrimp tikka kebabs and a “Mexi bowl” with protein, rice and pineapple relish.
Its weekend-only brunch menu boasts breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, avocado toast, chicken and waffles, mixed-berry french toast, elote Mexican street corn hash and the sunrise burger — prepared with a half-pound sirloin, cheese, bacon, sunny-side-up egg and chipotle mayo.
Additionally, Tapville’s alcohol menu offers more than 80 cocktail selections, including mocktails, and nearly 100 beer and hard cider choices.
