25+ D-FW restaurants with Cinco de Mayo specials in 2024

Margaritas, queso, nachos and more.

Cinco de Mayo is an excellent pretext to enjoy Mexican food and drinks, as it is the most popular Mexican holiday in the United States.

Historically, Cinco de Mayo celebrates the victory of the Mexican Army under General Ignacio Zaragoza against Napoleon III’s French Army on May 5, 1862. The episode is known as the Battle of Puebla. It is unrelated to Mexico’s Independence Day, which is celebrated Sept. 16.

However, in the United States, Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in a lot of places, and many restaurants offer specials or even make a fiesta of it. Here are some places that will have Cinco de Mayo specials this year.
