Dallas’ historic West End district in downtown now has a new taqueria offering breakfast tacos, al pastor, barbacoa, and quesabirria. Más Street Tacos opened June 14, 2024.
The restaurant is the newest concept from restaurateur Jay Khan, who also owns four other restaurants in the area: RJ Mexican Cuisine, Liam’s Steakhouse, Chet’s Dallas, and 3Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails.
“Fresh ingredients, combined with a great chef, make our food exceptional,” Khan said in a press release. “All meats are smoked or marinated in-house, ensuring the highest quality and flavor.”
In addition to tacos, the restaurant offers quesadillas, sopes, tortas, burritos, and flautas with various protein options, as well as corn and flour tortillas.
Heading the kitchen is chef Juan Sanchez, who currently oversees the kitchen at Liam’s Steakhouse, located across the street from Más Street Tacos. Sanchez, who will head both kitchens, has been on Khan’s team for more than 20 years.
Más Street Tacos is a counter-style taqueria with inside counter seating, outdoor patio dining and Mexican-style décor.
The restaurant also offers catering services to the surrounding offices in Uptown and Downtown Dallas.
According to the release, Khan, Chef Sanchez, and Yesenia Peres, the general manager of Más Street Tacos, bring over 100 years of combined restaurant industry experience.
