Dear friends in the D-FW restaurant community,
The threat of COVID-19 has upended the way we live and work, threatening businesses big and small. Those of you in the restaurant industry, who not only nourish us but give us places to gather and commune with our friends and neighbors, have been hit especially hard during this crisis.
These are unprecedented times, and they call for unprecedented actions. We’re all in this together as we struggle to adjust to a “new” — albeit temporary — normal. And we at The Dallas Morning News are committed to helping in any way we can.
That’s why, in partnership with FWD>DFW, we are offering free listings to locally owned and operated restaurants still open for takeout or delivery services. Those listings will appear in the newspaper every Friday throughout April, as well as online at dallasnews.com.
There are no strings. There is no catch. We simply need to do what’s right to help keep local restaurants in business.
This offer also is available to local arts and entertainment, religious, and community organizations conducting online events, services, workshops or other activities.

The Dallas Morning News has been serving the D-FW community for 135 years. One of A. H. Belo’s core tenets is to strengthen that community. Approximately 1.5 million people read The Dallas Morning News each day, in print and online, and they need to know where they can go for takeout or delivery to feed their families and support hardworking local operators.

Together, we’ll get through this.
